Any building must be a solid structure built on a sure foundation in order to remain standing, safe, and functional. If there is no foundation, the building will fall. If the walls are not solid, the roof will cave in. The same concept applies to the Building of God, the Church.
The US Church has lost her biblical structure. As a result, she has not stood well when pressured by the world. In fact, the world has influenced the Church. And, the Church has lost her influence over the world.
The first step in reforming the American Church is to restore the structure of the Church. We must work to restore the structure and foundation Jesus Himself put into place in Ephesians 4.
